Modest or just plain stubborn?
Well, it is high time to update the blog, but unfortunately the news everyone is waiting for is not yet available. Young Pittsley is not necessarily being modest, just uncooperative. We did have the ultrasound, and although it was enjoyable to see the little one, we have no news on the gender. The size was apparently right on schedule, 20 weeks on the dot. Here are the pictures, but it will be hard to describe them without being able to point to the areas in person. The small picture is showing only the baby’s foot. (We’re not sure where the rest of the baby is, but we’re assuming it’s attached somehow.) The foot is the indentation in the pear shaped object. If you look carefully enough, you can see some of the toes. (Kind of like those pictures you have to look at cross-eyed to see the real picture inside.)In other arenas, baby is becoming somewhat active, and has even kicked its father. However, baby almost never wakes up before late afternoon, and has taken entire days off at a time, specifically Sundays. Baby is most likely to kick when scrunched or when hearing its mother sing. Perhaps some of Grandma Parker’s genes have come through?
