Week 16 Doctor Visit

I'll just post a quick update for now. Jenny went to the doctor today and all reports were good. The baby's heartbeat was 152 beats/minute, which is normal. The doctor said that Jenny is obviously pregnant, but I think she could get away without anybody knowing for awhile yet. We had been concerned that Jenny wasn't gaining enough weight, but the doctor gave no indication that anything was awry. All other checks and tests were normal as well.

I guess now we sit back and watch the baby grow!

By the way some of you may notice the site feed button over on the right. It's a way for you to keep up on us without having to check the site every day to see if we have updated. My Yahoo has a pretty easy way to implement the site feed function if you are willing to sit and figure it out. If you have no idea what I am talking about, I think you'll find the introductions at Yahoo and FeedBurner worth your time.

Jenny at 15 Weeks

For everyone who doesn't already know: Jenny is pregnant! Here she is at 15 weeks (08/07/05). She's not really showing at all, but I hear the doctor says everything is proceeding as planned. This will be a good "Before" picture for when we get to the end of this adventure.


Here's the report:
(1) She is due 1/30/2006, but an early ultrasound revealed it could be up to a week later. (2) The heartbeat at the 12 week check-up was 158 beats/minute. (3) Early morning sickness and other first trimester problems are quickly fading. (4) There has been no ultrasound to determine gender and size yet. That will come in the next 5 weeks.
